Lead From the Front — With Purpose and Accountability
Bridges Health & Community Care is seeking a full-time Program Lead – Regional Reset, ideally based in Bundaberg, with travel across Fraser Coast (Hervey Bay & Maryborough) and surrounding inland regions.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role provides senior leadership across a high-profile, closely monitored government program, with a strong focus on contract administration, compliance, and stakeholder confidence.
Supporting young people aged 8–17, the program works with those displaying early patterns of criminal or anti-social behaviour, or at risk of entering the youth justice system. As a voluntary, early intervention program, success relies on engagement, trust, and persistence — working closely with young people and their families to drive meaningful change.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading a multidisciplinary team, including a Team Leader and frontline practitioners, to deliver consistent and high-quality outcomes
- Overseeing contract administration, ensuring all program deliverables align with funding agreements and service expectations
- Managing government reporting requirements, including oversight of data accuracy and quality within systems such as the SRS database
- Attending and contributing to regular department and stakeholder meetings, maintaining transparency and confidence
- Maintaining a “helicopter view” of program performance, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance across service delivery
- Reviewing case documentation and program progress across the full participant lifecycle
- Driving risk management processes, including oversight of travel risk assessments and approvals
- Supporting delivery of key program elements, including oversight of monthly “Reset” camps, which may require attendance outside standard hours

Drive Real Change — Where It Matters Most
The Regional Reset program is designed to intervene early — supporting young people before behaviours escalate further into the justice system.
Participants often present with complex barriers to engagement, including disengagement from education, unstable routines, and challenges in maintaining positive behavioural patterns. This program is built to meet them where they are — and support them toward where they can be.
Delivered through a structured 18-week cycle, the program combines:
- Mentoring & Case Support
- Family Engagement & Reconnection
- Education, Training, and Employment Pathways
- Cultural and community connection, particularly for First Nations young people
- Structured “Reset” camps (staged overnight experiences delivered across the program)
Thrive in Structure. Lead With Agility.
Success in this role requires a leader who can operate with confidence in a structured, compliance-driven environment while remaining adaptable and responsive.
You will bring the ability to:
- Deliver against strict contractual obligations and program outcomes
- Maintain high standards of reporting, data integrity, and documentation quality
- Respond to regular stakeholder engagement and short-notice government requests
- Demonstrate flexibility, adjusting priorities and supporting program delivery (including camps and after-hours activities when required)
- Lead through others, ensuring team alignment, collaboration, and accountability
This is a role where strong leadership is demonstrated through clarity, responsiveness, collaboration, and disciplined execution.
Bring Leadership That Aligns, Engages, and Delivers
To qualify, you will need relevant tertiary qualifications in Youth Justice, Social Work, Community Services, Psychology, or a related discipline, along with demonstrated experience leading programs or teams within youth justice, human services, or similar environments.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Strong knowledge of Queensland Youth Justice systems and processes
- Experience managing government-funded or compliance-heavy programs
- Proven capability in contract management, reporting, and program governance
- Confidence working within structured systems such as case management or reporting platforms
- Experience working with vulnerable young people and engaging families
- Strong cultural capability, particularly in supporting First Nations communities
- Understanding of Child Safe Standards, mandatory reporting, and trauma-informed practice
As our ideal candidate, you are a collaborative, structured and adaptable leader who values alignment, works effectively within established frameworks, and leads with accountability and consistency.
Be Rewarded for the Impact You Create
You will be rewarded with a competitive salary of $110,000 – $115,000 PLUS Super, along with a strong array of benefits including:
- Relocation Assistance available for the right candidate
- Access Salary Packaging up to $18,000 per year
- Flexible Working Arrangements & (TOIL) Time Off in Lieu for after-hours work
- Access to ongoing Professional Development and Specialised Training
- Internal coaching, mentoring, and leadership development opportunities
- Exposure to research-informed and innovative program frameworks
- Access to Company Vehicles for travel, with travel-related expenses covered
- Opportunity to lead a high-impact, government-backed program with strong organisational support
